I just love making and eating cookies! ( who doesnt?? ) Since I am here in Canada, I make them like once a  week and all my friends love me for that because they say that these are the best cookies they've ever had! *insert proud face here*  Anyways, I thought that just plain cookies look kind of boring and as my hostsisters birthday was coming up ( she loves cookies and pink ), I decided to try something new. I first found the idea of making lollipop- cookie pops on missblueberrymuffins blog, a great blog with awesome recipes! So I used my own cookie recipe and her idea of making colored lollipops out of it and they turned out great. My hostsister was so happy- especially because they were pink, of course you can use any other color- but also because she thought it was such a cute idea :) They are definitely an eye catcher and they are easier to make than you think!

LOLLIPOP COOKIE POPS

             Ingredients:                                                     Directions:
          1 cup butter                                         1. Preheat oven to 350 F ( 175 degrees )
          1 cup sugar                                          2. Cream together all the ingredients
          1 cup brown sugar                                 3. Divide cookies dough into 2 equal parts
          2 eggs                                                 4. Add liquid foodcoloring to one part of the dough, knead until dyed.
          2 teaspoons vanilla extract/ powder          5. Take a small piece of each dough, roll it into 12 inch (30cm) long ropes.
          2 teaspoons hot water                            6. Gentle twist these two ropes together
          3 cups flour                                           7. Form a spiraling circle
          1 teaspoon baking soda                           8. Repeat until all the dough is used
          Foodcoloring                                          9. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes
          Popsicle sticks                                       10. Transfer cookies to a cooling racle, immediately stick popsicle in it

          Measurement converter:
          5ml = 1 teaspoon
          15ml = 1 tablespoon
          1 cup = 250 gramm

          Makes approximately 20 2.5 inch ( ca 6cm) Lollipop Cookies ( I ended up with just 15 which is the result of eating too much of the dough- happens to me every time )
